The scooter was actually delivered a little bit earlier than they had quoted, and it was package well. It only takes a few minutes to get the steel cage packing off, and then the plastic and etc. is easy. It came charged and so I 've used it already several times and its great. It changes between the 3 speeds with only a moment delay and off you go. It definitely is the sharpest scooter around and it has all the gadgets you need. Its fun to go riding with my grandkids where I can be back with the slowest of the kids and speed right up and pass the fastest of them on bike. Top speed is 15 mph, which is enough for all that I need, and in fact we took it off road today and it ran well. I even climbed some small hills with no problems. I gave it 5 stars, but in maneuverability I gave it 4 since it has 4 wheels it won't turn on a dime, but you do have reverse to use in those tight cases.
We live in the country with 20 acres, relatively flat, but some hills. This scooter eats it up. It has good handling, it has great braking when you let off the accelerator, and is perfect for my elderly father (and me!). It definitely fit our needs and is recommended for a tough, high clearance 15 mph top speed scooter. And the battery life, is so good, we have used it many, many , times, and never see it go off 100% even after hours of periodic use away from its charger.
This is Sarge and he was not getting enough exercise. I am 83 and use a walker most of the time. I ordered the scooter hoping he would be able to trot along side. He is very smart and took to it immediately. Together we go 3 miles each morning. The cart arrived in perfect condition, one day earlier than it was expected. I was surprised at how well it was protected in its shipping crate. Assembly was a snap. And it arrived with a full battery so I was able to give it a test run right away.
Everyone who has seen this unit is so impressed and I am so pleased with its performance. It has ample power to climb pretty steep dirt grades. It takes corners well, is more than fast enough and carries my 234 pounds with no hesitation. Those who ask are amazed that I did not spend MUCH MORE than my cost. This is an excellent investment and I plan to use it year around. That is saying something as we live in Idaho.
